Hoad Monument and Fireworks

I thought I try to get some photos of the fireworks display for the re-opening of the Sir John Barrow(Hoad) monument on Sunday 22nd. It's the first time I'd tried photographing fireworks and only had about 5mins to get the photos in so it was a bit of fingers crossed. I did manage to get a few keepers.

I tried exposure of 4secs and 8secs at F8 and found I got the best results at 8secs.

I got my best shots at the start of the display as  there was too much smoke in the second half of the display.
