Keswick for a week

I've just come home from a weeks holiday at Keswick. I can't believe it's the first time I've visited Keswick living as close as I do, but I've just drove right through previously.
It really is a nice place to stay on being central for a lot of walks and with plenty of places to eat and drink after a hard days walking.
The weather wasn't too bad and I did manage to get a few shots for my portfolio.
Tuesday morning I was out of bed at 5:30am to try and get a shot of the iconic Ullswater boathouse, the weather was kind and I did get a few keepers.
I think my favourite shot is of a tree on the banks of Buttermere this was taken quite late in the morning in bright light and shooting into the sun which isn't normally advised but I think it worked this time.
I got toothache on the Tuesday so that put a spanner in the works for a couple of days
