Ulverston and North Lonsdale Show testing Pentax's weather sealing

I was official photography for a rather wet Ulverston and north Lonsdale Show this year.

It was throwing it down from the start so I decided to play safe and go with my K5 and Pentax 18-135mm WR.
I was impressed with the weather sealing it held out for about three hours in torrential rain until the damp finally made it's way into the lens and it started to fog up. An hour drying out indoors and there's no damage done to camera or lens.

Here's a few photos from the day there weren't many other photographers about when the rain was pouring.

Grizedale on a rainy day

I had a day of work and the weather forecast was for rain so I thought I'd try a go to Grizedale Forest and try for a few water/waterfall shots.
I found using the Pentax K3s in camera HDR handy for getting the milky water shots.

Trying out my Pentax HD PENTAX-DA 20-40mm F2.8-4 ED Limited WR Lens

A few images taken with my new Pentax DA 20-40mm Ltd lens.
I traded in my 21mm Ltd and 40mm Ltd to buys this lens and am glad I did. I nice lightweight lens that's weather sealed and very good optically.
This is my new go-to walkabout lens.
